November

Well we are soon to be done with November how fast the months are rolling by. So this month Zoe is talking like crazy in the last couple months she has said a total of about 22 words only 10 are about full words but when she says things you can clearly hear what she is trying to say. The funniest things she has started doing is: when you ask her what a kitty cat says she will say in a high pitched voice meow. When you ask her what a dog does she pants really fast like a dog. When you ask her where her belly button is she will lift up her shirt and show you her belly button and say be bu. When you ask her where her ear and eye are she will point and say ear and eye. She is so dang cute! I can't believe how much she is learning everyday. Well in other news Chris is going to be working for a new project at Convergys. He was selling american express business cards and now he will be working for a project called Juniper they deal with computer stuff. So starting Nov. 30 he will work from 6am - 230pm Tues - Sat. and I will be working from 3pm - 8pm Tues - Fri. So we will be getting a little extra money because I am picking up an extra shift during the week. I am happy not to work weekends anymore. I am super excited about that. :) Let's see Thanksgiving was good. We went to both my parents house and Chris' parents house it was nice to be with family. Anyway Here are some recent Pics of Zoe i haven't post any on here in a while so here they are.

October Update!

Wow a lot has happened this month, First off We moved into our apartment Oct. 5. Zoe turned one on Oct. 14 she had a Dr.'s appt the 15 and weighed 24.11 pounds and was 31 inches high which is off the charts. But she is doing good. We are doing great we love our new place and our looking forward to Halloween even though Zoe is still not going trick or treating this year. I am going to spray her hair down with purple hair spray (at least I want to) Then we are going to go over to my parents house and hang out. Chris has to work and I don't want to be home by my self passing out candy so we will go see my parents and pass out candy with them. So anyway tons of fun stuff. But that is my monthly update for Oct. Short and sweet. :)

Well We are Moving!!!!

Yup, it's true we are going to be moving to washington!! Washington Terrace that is :) We will be moving on Oct. 10 (hopefully sooner but we will have to see.) Finally after 3 months of searching on and off we have decided to move there. Why you ask? well, even though Chris and I both don't work anywhere near there (well Chris works in Roy so it's kinda close and he is going to weber so I guess that can be considered a reason) But no, when we first got married we lived in South Ogden only about 9 blocks from where we are going to be living and liked it (Roy was a lot better, but rent no matter where we looked was to expensive for what we could afford) so then we decided to check South Ogden area to see if rent was any cheaper up that way And bingo! it is. We are only going to have to pay $500 a month for a decent place to live with 2 bedrooms and washer/dryer hookups instead of the $550 - $700 that we saw in other citys. Now keep in mind if anyone decides to come and visit which is fine by me (as long as you give me notice) :) IT IS SMALL at least to us But it's cheap. So that in it self is worth it. The apartments Chris and I are used to were about 900 - 1000 Sq. feet, This apartment is only 800 sq ft. But, like I keep telling Chris it is only going to make our house more of a homey feel because we will have to be very close to each other whether we want to or not :) no matter what room we decide to go into.(Jk) But anyway just wanted to make this news my Sep. Monthly update. Not much else going on. Zoe turned 11 months old on Sep. 14 so she will be having a B day soon. (Can't believe she is already going to be one in less than a month) It's crazy crazy! More updates to come next month!

Update for August

Well Aug. 11, 2009 we hit our 4 year Anniversary it was a really fun day. We went shopping during the day then came back home and had Chris' parents baby sit Zoe and we went to dinner. It was nice and weird at the same time. Weird because looking back I think that was the first time we went anywhere with just the two of us since Zoe was 2 months old. I guess I am just to attached to my daughter because I missed her a ton and we were only gone for maybe 1 - 2 hours. But it's weird because when I go to work i have so much to do, i don't think about anything but what I need to get done by the time I leave each day.

Zoe also turned 10 months old on August 14 it is crazy to think that she will be 1 years old in about two months. Where has time gone?
We have also decided to stay where we are for now. Just so then Chris can get back into school this coming Monday and try and get done. That's about it for the month update. I will update again in Sep.

July Post

Well not to much going on with the Smart Family. Chris and I are both working, we are still apartment hunting which we have decided to take a break from for right now. We are waiting to here on an apartment over in Syracuse "still" I am begining to think that they are not in any hurry to rent it out. So who knows whats going to happen with that. Um, lets see what else. Zoe got to spend two days playing with her cousin Oaklee who she hasn't seen since father's day back in June. And other than that not to much exciting but I figured since it was almost the end of July and I don't believe I have written on here since May that I should at least write something for this month. So here is my blog for the month. Here are some pics of Zoe on Fathers day and some from playing with Oaklee.

May 2009

I haven't posted on here in a while just because life has been super crazy. Zoe turned 7 months old on May 14 and last Sunday (May 17th) She got her first tooth. And then this Sunday (May 24th) she got a second one, So now she has two teeth on the bottom of her mouth they are so cute. Anyway She loves to get into things and she is not even 2 yet. Here is a video of her opening the bathroom drawers.

Zoe has also had fun swimming, two weeks ago Zoe and I went over to our friends Lew and Lisa's house and on the way their I decided to buy Zoe some sunglasses they are so cute, they take up her whole face but they are still way adorable on her, they make her look a lot older than she really is. (even though she looks like that every day) :) Zoe and their daughter Scarlett had a ton of fun in the kiddie pool. It was a really fun day.

Zoe loved Swimming so i decided to get her her own pool, Found one at target for 5 bucks. She loves it, she was splashing like crazy, she stayed in it
for about a half hour until the sky turned gray and it started getting a little chilly. another new thing she loves to do is to play the piano with daddy. She lOVES it. It is so cute to see them together playing the piano.

Anywho, that is my update for this month I am going to try an update every month but some months are crazier than others.

Zoe is 5 months old today. I really can't believe it. It seems like just yesterday that Chris and I were at the hospital and I was getting induced and then 34 hours of hard labor and then a C section she came into this world. I look at pictures of her when she was first born and she really does
look different. it is amazing how much she changes every day.

Chris and I are truly blessed to even be parents. I look back on my struggle with my Endometriosis and how much I wanted to be a mother more than anything in the world and never thought i would be able to then after i had surgery to remove most of the endo I was pregnant 3 months later. My pregnancy was a hard one, and I am so great full that I was given the strength to get through it and to not lose our little girl.

I remember when i was 4 months pregnant, I woke up and noticed a little bleeding only to be told it was just irritation then three days later I had to go to the ER because my bleeding became worse and wasn't stopping, I was told that I had Placenta Abruption and that I would probably lose my daughter with in a week. I had never cried so much or so hard in my entire life. Chris and I were devestated. But through our faith and many prayers on our behalf, miraculously i made it to the 37 week mark before getting induced due to Toxemia and Gestational Diabletes all within a week apart. Zoe is our little miracle and forever will be to us. She is a great blessing and i wouldn't trade being a mom for anything in the world.

March already?

did February fly by or is just me. I am really looking forward to spring and I know it's just around the corner. And I can't wait, I really want to take Zoe to the park. And plus the sooner spring comes the less chance of snow there will be. Which is good because I can't stand the snow. Work is going ok don't know what it was about yesterday when I worked but people work so rude. It's like: this is exactly why I am so glad I am not working full time, not that it makes anything any better but hey at least I get to have days of in between the days I work which makes going to work a little better. Anyway, my sister just turned 16 we had a surprise party for her on Mon. March 2nd she was totally shocked. It was good. I can't believe that she is that old. It makes me sick because we are 10 years apart and the older she gets the older I get and I really don't like the idea of turning 26 this year I really don't feel that old. But what can you do about it. :)

How fast time goes by...

We are finally getting over being sick. Thank goodness. Can't believe how fast time goes by (to me at least) Chris and I celebrated Valentines day late. But at least we celebrated better late then never right? I think so. So for Valentines day we got new cell phones and got on with T mobil. We will see how there cell phone service is. But our new phones are really cool. They are valued at like $400 and we got them for $25 each Chris and I both got the same phone, his is black and gray and mine is gray and pink. They are really cool phones they have a really nice camera and they take really good pics. Plus you can download songs and play songs like an ipod. It is really cool
Anyway Zoe is getting big, her hair is so long now i put it in a little pony tail at the top of her head and she looks like pebbles from the flinstones :)

Happy Valentines Day!!!

Can't believe that we are in the middle of Feb. all ready. Happy Valentines to every one. It's not going to be a fun one for Chris and I, just cause we both have to work tomorrow. Chris works till ten and I work till 8 so ya, it's so romantic don't ya think? :) Zoe is getting big. She will be 4 months old [Photo]tomorrow. She went into the Dr. yesterday and she now weighs 17.7 pounds and is 26.25 inches long she is going to be one tall little girl but I don't mind what can I say it runs in the family, Chris family from Norway my family is from England and Holland. Poor Zoe bug has a little cold she started getting it yesterday and now Chris has one to, he got his today, Hopefully I will get lucky and not get one but that will be a big fat chance. But we will see.

A new thing Zoe has started to do this month is eat cereal she inhales it. She loves it. I have two pic's of her eating it they are so dang cute!!! you can see them at the bottom. One last thing I have officially been working for 3 weeks so far as of today. It's weird to be back working but I love it. I not only like talking to people but the money helps to.

Here is a little bit about us......

Chris and I have been married for 3 years and 5 months. In that time we have moved 3 times When we first got married we lived in South Ogden and lived there for two years then we moved to Roy and lived there for 7 months and now we currently live in Centerville, Utah and just had a precious little girl named Zoe

Zoe was born on Oct. 14, 2008 weighing 8 pounds 14 ounces she was born 3 weeks early. She truely is our little Miracle when i was 4 months Pregnant I got diagnosed with Placenta Abruption (Placenta started to detach from the uterine wall) The Dr's found it in two different places and they didn't think Zoe would stay alive for longer than a week. But after many many prayers from family and friends and her determination to fight to be here she continued to stay put. Just when my two seperations started to heal I was diagnosed with Toxemia and Gestational Diabetes and my Dr. decided to induce me on Oct. 13, 2008 at 12 am so after 34 hours of labor and a C section later our precious little girl finally came into this world and she was perfect no problems at all during any of my pregnancy. We are truely blessed to have her with us. And I woudn't trade my life for anything I love being a mom.

Zoe just turned 3 months old on Wed. Jan. 14, 2009 I can't believe how fast time goes by. She is learning new things every day, she loves to smile and laugh and her favorite thing to do right now is try to sit up all by herself. She also loves sitting in her little chair and watch tv (she takes after daddy on that one) :)

As far as school and work goes well Chris is currently going to school to major in accounting and working full time at Converges I however am not going to school but am going to be working part time at Walmart as an Optician (have been doing this for 5 years) I start this Thursday haven't worked for walmart in 3 years so it will be interesting to see how everything goes.
